Background Images in Posternity Editor
Enhance your creations by using powerful background image features right inside the Posternity editor. Whether you want to reuse historical archives or customize your visuals with new backgrounds, Posternity makes it seamless and intuitive.
How to access the feature
When you open the editor with "Edit in Editor" button, you will find five menu items (Background, Effects, Shapes, Images and Text). Click on "Background" to open the background panel. There, you will find 3 subtabs ("Images", "Upload Yours" and "Color"). The "Upload yours" subtab will let you drag and drop another image from your computer. So, if you want to change the photo you already uploaded, click on "Upload Yours" and drag and drop your new image from your local computer to the "Drop image here" box.
Using Posternity Archive as Background
You can easily select any image from your Posternity archive to serve as the background in your design project:
- Search Posternity Archive:
- Use the built-in search tool to browse through Posternity archive images. Quickly find the perfect historical photo or scenic background that fits your vision.
- Double-Click to Replace:
- Simply double-click any image from the search results to instantly replace the current background with your chosen image. This smooth transition helps you experiment fast without interrupting your creative flow.
- Apply Effects:
- Once the background is set, you can apply various effects like blur, opacity adjustment, or color filters to harmonize the background with your foreground subjects, creating a cohesive final look.
- Crop and Adjust:
- Crop the background image directly within the editor to focus on the most important area or to better fit your composition. This lets you control exactly what part of the image shows behind your subject.
